Electronic Billing

Central Huron offers an electronic billing (e-billing) program to customers. Customers interested in registering for e-billing should register online. Once registered future paper invoices will not be sent, however, paper statements continue to be mailed and are not included in the e-billing program. 

If you have registered for e-billing and have not received an email, check your junk email folder.

What is an e-bill?
An e-bill, or electronic bill, is a paperless way to receive your bills by having them sent directly to your email inbox on a digital device.
How do I register? 
To register for e-billing, complete the form linked above. You will need to confirm and verify your email. Once this is done and you have received a confirmation email from the Municipality you are successfully registered.
What if my email or contact information changes? 
Customers are responsible for advising the Municipality of any changes required, including but not limited to: application information, change in email address, account information, sale of property, or cancellation of e-billing.  
If I'm signed up for e-billing, will I still receive a mailed paper copy?
Once registered, future paper invoices will not be sent. However, paper statements continue to be mailed and are not included in the e-billing program. 
Can a municipal staff member fill out the form for me?
Yes. Please contact the municipal office by calling 519-482-3997 or emailing reception@centralhuron.com and request that staff complete the form for you.
I have a mortgage company paying my taxes on my behalf. Should I register for e-billing?
Yes, you can register for e-billing. You and your mortgage company will receive a copy of your e-bill.
I am registered for monthly pre-authorized payments. Should I register for e-billing?
Yes, you can register for e-billing. 
Will all information regarding my tax/utilities account by sent by email if I register?

No. The following will still be sent by mail:

  • Past due/reminder notices
  • Letters for pre-authorized payment re-calculations
  • Any letters regarding your accounts
I registered and have not received a bill?
Check your spam or junk folder for the email. If it is not there, please contact reception@centralhuron.com or call 519-482-3997.
I am registered but I need to cancel.
Please contact the municipal office by calling 519-482-3997. 
Can I register more than one email on my accounts?
One email address is guaranteed per account. Central Huron will try to add additional email addresses, however, there are software limitations.
