Property Taxes

Property taxes are the primary source of revenue for Central Huron. Property taxes help pay for fire, policing, road maintenance and construction, arena, parks, library and much more. Tax rates are set each year to meet the requirements of the annual budget.

Tax bills are mailed out twice a year with two payments to be made per bill. The tax due dates are included on the bills. Central Huron offers several different payment options and tax certificates can be requested for a small fee. Any properties with unpaid taxes will be charged penalties and interest and may result in a tax sale.
