Open Air Burning

The rules governing controlled burning are outlined in By-law 19-2018, which is in place to promote safe practices and prevent the spreading of fires.

A permit is required to conduct a non-recreational open air burn. The application for a burn permit can be completed and submitted online, or you can contact the Municipal Office to obtain a PDF version of the application.
