Central Huron Facilities Proof of Vaccination Requirements
Effective September 22, 2021, any individual 12 years of age or older must provide proof of vaccination prior to entering a Central Huron recreation facility subject to exemptions listed below. The requirements and protocols being implemented are based on The Province on Ontario’s Reopening Ontario Act, and The Huron Perth Public Health Unit recommendations.
The exemptions to the general proof of vaccination policy are as follows:
- Any patron under the age of 18 who is attending an indoor recreation facility for the purpose of participating in a “youth recreational sport” is exempt from providing proof of vaccination prior to entry;
- All patrons who attend an indoor recreational facility who claim a medical exemption are required to provide a medical doctor’s note;
Please note that any individual 18 years of age or older who is attending an indoor recreation facility for the purpose of “youth recreational sport” is required to provide proof of vaccination prior to entry, regardless of status as a coach, official or volunteer.
In addition, an individual or group renting a Municipal facility (excluding the Eastlink Arena) will be required to verify proof of vaccination for any attendees who are 12 years of age or older (i.e. eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine based on their age).
All CHCC walking track users must check in at the YMCA desk to verify vaccination before proceeding to the track. YMCA membership is not required.
(Central Huron Recreation Facilities include: The CHCC (Eastlink Arena, Libro Hall), Clinton Town Hall Auditorium, Holmesville Hall, Auburn Hall, Londesboro Hall, Kinburn Hall, and Clinton Raceway Grandstand.)
