Central Huron Mayor and Deputy Mayor with Biogas Delegation to Denmark
Clinton ON, June 17, 2024 – Central Huron Mayor Jim Ginn and Deputy Mayor Marg Anderson are in Denmark with a biogas delegation to learn more about Danish experiences with the development and integration of biogas and connect with Danish authorities in the energy sector. This delegation is organized by the Consulate General of Denmark through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark at no-cost to Central Huron rate-payers.
On April 4, 2024 GreenLab, a Danish closed loop industrial park, expressed interest to Council regarding the former Bluewater Youth Centre property as a potential development site. The biogas delegation is an exploratory opportunity for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor to learn more about green parks and connect with those involved.
A fulsome report of their experiences will be presented to Council at a future meeting and will be included with the agenda. All agendas and minutes can be found at: www.centralhuron.ca/agendasandminutes
